One of the best dracula games by vanityjeremy on September 20, 2009
Rating: 8/10
this is the first dracula game i have ever played and thus far the best for gens or nes. It blew me away how i actually had to work to beat it, i mean it was fairly easy but some parts of the game seem a bit unfair lol. But over all a great game im just sadden i got rid of it.
Bram Stoker Dracula by chriskitz on August 16, 2009

This was one of my favorite games of all time besides the movie being so cool, the game makes you makes you feel as if your in it,graphix not bad for its time but in that era i wish home consoles had arcade quality Neo Geo being the closes to it but dam expensive.wish the game gava you infinet lives that way more peole would injoy the game not only the hardcore gamers that way we could have seen every endig game that we so hard try gettig to but never did,but just get frusterated and drop the controller like i did for Dracula.
Best Console Verison of BSD by Paulthelion on October 19, 2008

This is the best console version because graphically it couldn't be done on the genesis or the snes for that matter. First off, the backgrounds have a 2.5D layering effect which already makes the game look great. Johnathan Harker's sprite is done up like the characters from Mortal Kombat so it looks more realistic which also adds some zazz. As far as gameplay goes this is your typical side scroller where you punch & kick your way through Dracula's minions before the final showdown with the Count. The gameplay itself is not too bad but sometimes feels a little stiff, especially when you are trying to make jumps over deadly pits, but overall the gameplay is bearable. What sometimes annoys me about this game is that the enemies on screen can get a little overwhelming in numbers at times which can be frustrating, but then again that is what a lot of old school side scrollers are all about. Of course you have plenty of grainy FMV's from the movie in between levels roughly following the your progress in the game. Overall I'd recommend this game to any Sega CD owner out there. It's makes a great edition to the collection.
