Awesome game by Jaily on February 25, 2009
Rating: 9/10
Warsong is one of the greatest turn based strategy rpg ever!! You control a general and his personal troops with the maps fighting many types of monsters with all have strong and weak points, with makes knowlegde along with strategy the best way to reach the victory. I wished there was more games like this one.
Tough game by nenadzn on December 29, 2008
The player controls a group of heroes or commanders to accomplish some goals each phase. They are joined with non-controlled allies to battle with enemies commanders. Before each phase, the player can purchase up to eight army units from a single type for every one of its heroes. The type of the available army depends on the hero class (e.g Griffons can only be purchased by Dragon Knights) and have different prices. At the end of each phase, any survivor army provides some amount of cash for the player to use next time.

After each battle, the winning commander gains experience that allows him to upgrade to a more powerful class. If a hero dies, he is lost forever.

One of the Best games of its time By ronkarz by ronkarz on August 13, 2008
Warsong is one of my favorite games of all time. The blend of strategy based game play mixed with an rpg story and leveling is great. It is truly intrigueing. The only langrisser hikari to make it to the states(sadly)Will keep you busy for hours. You will learn to hate the annoying Lance who is always getting in your way. And you will definately want to play thru a couple times to see what each of your charecters 3rd rank will be.

Great strategy RPG by Danthrax on August 5, 2008
This game is a great strategy rpg. You get to level up and get class changes at every 10th level. Also, it's tile based, which is a huge plus to me. In addition, there is also a level skip cheat, which allows you to skip backwards or forwards in levels, which is nice for experience building, just don't skip to a level where you first obtain a character, or you get your exp reset :(. Other than that, the only real pitfalls of the game are the storyline that is slightly lost in translation, and the permanent death of characters if you mess up too badly.
